Supply List
The following supplies are necessary for both Algebra II and Statistics:
1. $5.00 math fee -- This cannot be combined with other fees. Please write a separate $5.00 check for this fee. This money is used to buy calculator batteries and other consumable supplies throughout the year.
2. One 3-ring binder -- This can be a dedicated binder (1-inch) or it can be combined with another class.
3. Loose leaf paper -- Buy more than you think you will need while it's on sale early in the year!
4. Pencils (mechanical preferred, wooden OK, NO PENS)
5. Clik Eraser (recommended) or other gum eraser -- because sometimes the one on your pencil just isn't enough. Gum erasers keep your paper neat.
6. 3 Dry Erase pens -- used throughout the year to work on hand-held dry-erase boards. These will be left in the room so they will always be available when we need them.
7. Two manila folders -- Write your name on both of them, like this:
Last name, First name
8. Graph paper, straight edge, & highlighter (or any colored pen)-- keep these things together at school. You will need them whenever we are graphing. This will happen in the 1st nine-weeks and again in the middle of spring semester.
9. Other supplies -- Please help keep our classroom running smoothly by contributing one of these items:
1st period: Germ-X
2nd, 3rd & 4th periods: Kleenex
5rd & 7th periods: Paper Towels
10. (optional) If you are planning to take Calculus, Business Calculus, or Statistics in college, you may want to invest in your own TI-84.
11. (statistics only) 3x5 index cards
The $5.00 fee, Germ-X, Kleenex, paper towels, manila folders, and dry erase pens should be turned in to me during class. Please make sure your name is on each item.
Your notebook should always contain the notes, homework, and graded papers for the current nine-weeks. I recommend that at the beginning of each nine-weeks, you put your old notes & other papers in a safe place. You may need them again for the exam!
Always make sure you have plenty of blank paper in your binder before you come to class.
Please bring your binder, textbook, pencil, and eraser to class with you every day. Keep your graph paper, highlighter & straight edge at school so you will have them with you when you need them.
